# Maker controller extension

Hi! I would like to control my game using the circuit playground express board and I’ve been following the guide in this link [https://learn.adafruit.com/custom-controllers-for-makecode-arcade](https://learn.adafruit.com/custom-controllers-for-makecode-arcade). However, it doesn’t work. It’s like the program downloads to the board and it sounds like it disconnects from the computer and then immediately it connects back and then it stops working. Can someone help me troubleshoot it?

Hello! I am Not sure nur maybe the Boards Firmware is Not updated to the latest Version which Sets IT Info the maintance Mode! Just Install the newest Firmware and you are done!  
(Btw I know its Like that with the Micro Bit )
