# Making the Play tone command

I did not understand the steps to follow for making the “play tone [Tone C] foe 1 beat “command like in the attached screenshot. Maybe I did not use the correct version of make code

It is under the music tab. If you don’t see it then something has gone wrong.

I’m guessing that’s right, because when I open a microbit makecode project, the block looks like this instead:

There was an update to MakeCode. Some of the older projects will show older versions.
