# Matrix lidar distance sensor v1.0 on Microbit MaQueen v3

Hello, I bought a Matrix lidar distance sensor v1.0 and a Microbit MaQueen v3 and installed them. I can get the Microbit MaQueen to follow a line with Maker code, but I don’t understand the Matrix lidar distance sensor at all. I wouldn’t know how to code it! Could you help me with that?

I already succeeded, this is the makecode code to drive the microbit maqueen v3 with matrix distance sensor v1.0 and avoid obstacles. This is the code:
