# Microsoft MakeCode for micro:bit

Hi.  
When the new MakeCode editor goes live on June 12th, will the old editor (the current one now) still be available to use?  
If it is, how do you get to it and how long will it be kept up?

Old editor will be available under /v2 link. Although new editor is completely backward compat. Why do you need old editor for?

New editor doesn’t work on all the devices I use.

I sometimes use an iPad that it doesn’t load on. I think it has an iOS of 9.something. It works fine on the computer (MacOS El Capitan) that I use though.

We have fixed the issue on iOS9. Please retest and let us know.

No. It doesn’t work. I,'be rechecked and it’s version 9.3.5.
