# Mka Os announcment. ###### makecode arcade operating system # Mka os is an operating system written in makecode arcade, it is currently in alpha and a majority of my currently planned features are not implemented ## implemented features - points system and extension for it - user accounts with support for multiple users and extensions for it - 10 current profile pictures for user profiles - multi language, currently english and japanese - uses neopixels - first time setup - application extension ## planned features - customizable backgrounds - customize what launches at boot - using radio communication for transfering save data, transferring points, multiplayer. etc. - scripting language so you can make applications on the device itsself and run it - audio format file for to save sounds and music designed for pybadge but should be able to run on other hardware also if anyone wants to make a profile picture to replace the current system ones they can (the profile pictures are 16x16) you can try out the current version below but features such as applications are not implemented yet if you need to reset the system hold A at boot > **[mka os alpha preRelease build 26.8.23.v0.1](https://arcade.makecode.com/S63271-32902-05665-12494)** > > Made with ❤️ in Microsoft MakeCode Arcade. ---

This stuff looks awesome! It reminds me of 2 other games trying to have that “Nintendo Switch” menu vibe kind of thing. The username and password part work really well too! ---

Thank you!! im going to start working on it more this friday, dont know when the next pre-release is going to be released though. btw i did not really try make the vibe based on the nintendo switch, more like the psp, ds/3ds and general pc’s ---
