I was testing some mode 7 stuff and trying to see how optimized I could make it run on hardware, and figured I’d post it here. This will run at ~27 fps on my pygamer (even more if the horizon is lowered), though since it loses precision in some of the math stuff it doesn’t look super sharp and has some inaccuracies graphically. It also has some issues like the map repeating and it using exclusively 256x256 images (nothing more or less).
