# Mouse extension help

So I’m trying to use the mouse extension but I’m not sure how it works. I tried doing a `mouse click button 'right' set projectile` but that did not work, how am I supposed to do this?

the mouse extension is (confusingly enough) not for using the mouse in the simulator, but for making the hardware devices (meowbit, pybadge, breainpad, etc.) pretend to be a mouse when connected to a computer.

@darzu and I were talking about making a keyboard/mouse events extension but we haven’t gotten around to it. Probably won’t be anytime soon

That’s mildly disappointing, but is very understandable.
