# Music tips?

Ive seen really good music projects in here, and i was hoping to get some tips on how to work with music in my projects, since i every arcade style game needs its banger soundtrack

I like creating music, so here are some probably good maybe instructions:
**First** , get familiar with each sound in the music block.
**Second** , try and find the bpm you’re looking for.
I usually do 300 or 350 because my songs are fast paced.
Here’s what 300 sounds like:

Fast
After you settle on a bpm, try and make a simple beat with the bpm you chose.
This is a 300 bpm:

**Third** , experiment putting notes to the beat. I usually go with the cherry or computer with the burger as a bass-like sound.
With this information, hopefully you can get going on song making!
Or you could just ignore my instructions and just wing it
(also make sure to turn on “show bass clef”)

thanks for the tips! ill be trying to do some more music from now on to see if i get something im satisfied with
