# New TileMap with the function of the old Tilemap

Hello together,  
it is possible to use the same functions with the new TileMap as with the old color Tilemap.

For example a red pixel on the new TileMap is the starting point for an enemy.

I don’t think you can spawn an enemy on a pixel **if you are using a tilemap**.

You can use the `place my sprite ` block, but I think that only works for backgrounds.

You can place a sprite on top of a certain tile, though.
