Hi all,
So I started this project a couple of months ago but have now had to abandon it due to some limitation with assets. I don’t think it’s a Pygamer memory issue because the assets are so small in size, I think it might be a MakeCode limitation to the number of assets allowed, rather than the size (in Kb) of them.
I have thoroughly enjoyed figuring out how the game Outrun might have been coded and putting that together in the Block Editor in MakeCode Arcade.
I had to avoid sprites because they were too slow (bad framerate on the Pygamer) so, each tree size visible is an actual asset.
