# Pick random element?

This is the bane of my existence. Will there be a block to pick a random element from a list, so I don’t have to see this? It’s very big and ugly.

I feel like that there is a shorter way for some reason but I can’t remember it

I added a new block for this just after we last released - it’ll come out with the next release.

Yes it’s there, but I’d note we are making a few more changes in beta than normal at the moment, so there’s a chance that things will change and games created in beta could get broken before release / there might be bugs.

Yes, there are some big changes coming to beta so be careful! I think I’m going to do a post later today explaining the new features and how to test them out
