I got rank ! 😊
But as with the cutscene you just posted, the art in this game is GREAT, its got a nice retro style and bright colors! The one asset I’d say could be improved is actually the water texture in the screenshot, since the harsh scrolling white/blue lines can be a bit dizzying, so maybe they could be blue and light blue instead of white or less dense.
Of course some extra tutorial or controls explanation would be great (I didn’t realize you could dash with B for a while!) along with some story to explain why we should be so destructive but I get that this is a single level rather than a full game that would need those.
The gameplay is awesome, the dash and fire mechanics work great and the movement feels smooth!
Do you think you’re going to work on this further or is it finished? 👀

i will probably work on this a bit more
but the idea was more kinda like an engine for people who want to make games like this
