Okay! Thanks for that information guys!
Yeah, I would be changing API for both because of how distant they are from the softbody extension.

I’ll make the changes with the new update version.

Thanks for your help!

is it possible to change a sprite’s image mid rotation?

set a sprite data to its rotation and update when it changes
Then you can just change the sprite image and apply the rotation variable for the sprite

Yup! That’s how I would do it. I was thinking about adding more blocks for rotating animations if that would be cool

OK!!!
It has been a while sense I did something on this page, and almost 6 months sense that poll, and I decided to make the Ragdoll extension better!

Here’s updated github (it should be updated for all links, though I thought to put it in anyway):

> **[GitHub - bladebaillio/ragdoll-extension: ragdoll physics for makecode arcade](https://github.com/bladebaillio/ragdoll-extension)**
>
> ragdoll physics for makecode arcade

I made a LOT of changes to blocks with some major function changes as well.

My goal was to get it as close to that of my softbody extension as posable, so I put in the same math to keep things consistent.

I added lots of blocks mimicking my softbody extension for rendering also, so now you can fill in the space between the sprite connections!

I made it so that each connection is stored in a higher “Set” of connections called simply a “ragdoll”. This way, you can find, edit, store where each connection is inside the ragdoll! This is useful for also checking it a certain sprite is in a certain ragdoll or not.

There are blocks that don’t really work as expected, which I’m sad to say, include the new clamp block 😟. So using more than one clamp in a ragdoll might end up glitchy. I’m still working on it.

**ANYWAY…** that’s it for now!
I know @coppercode , @ChimbroDaPro, @TheEarth, and some other of you guys were wanting to see it finished, so I hope you guys find it useful!

The list of things you could create with this are:

1. ragdoll characters
2. wobbly 2d shapes
3. car spring tension for realistic wheels

Here’s an example of what you could make:

Thank you! Hopefully, I’ll get that clamp bug fixed in the future!

Are you able to make a demo of a car with realistic suspension? I think it’s satisfying, so… _pretty please_ make a demo

This is actually super cool! I might try and use these in my own projects (I feel more comfortable with math animation than actual animation 😭)

It obviously has its flaws, but it’s a start!
