# Project doesn't open

When I attempt to open a large project or one that I haven’t opened in a while, the project doesn’t load. If I open the project in grid view, the project will be stuck loading. If I open the project in normal view, there will be an orange box on the bottom of the screen that says “Sorry, we could not load this project”. Are there any ways to bypass this and open the project, or open the project at all?

copy ist and delete the old file that will work and if not might as well do some HAX
