Just wanted to draw attention to another pull request I’ve started around the ability to save the application as a PNG and also have it a Github repo.

 ![SCR-20260207-jmkp](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/makecode/original/3X/9/e/9e0bce15ef06e51f0dfffdb1cb93a91a8b911a0c.png)

Many MANY times I’m working on a game using github for version control, history, hosting, etc etc… but then I want to be able to easily share it with friends/students. PNG works great for simple sharing vs a raw github link (also makes a solid snapshot in time… oh and did I mention it’s just super cool to distribute games via a “loaded” image).

@richard - I don’t like at-mentioning you too often, I swear I’ll limit to no more than once per week 🙂 Let me know if you’d like me to calm down with that or have another way to draw attention to feature/pr requests.

Thanks!

The snapshot tool beneath the simulator still works, GitHub project or not.

Sweet thanks for that I guess I always assumed that button was just to get a screenshot, not the full game as a png.

@Kikketer no worries! Feel free to ping me. And sorry, we’ve been a little underwater recently working on the new arcade release that will be coming out soon. I’ll take a look at this before end of week!
