# 💐 March Update [The new SAMMY update is HERE!! ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/makecode/original/3X/3/b/3bdf4e3745b1152a62caf7ac9aefd45e694c702c.png)](https://forum.makecode.com/t/sammy-text-to-speech-speech-synthesizer-extension/39499/42) No need to write phonetically, just turn your text directly into speech with the auto-translator! 🥳 (Plus: 2 new sounds, sound blending, and pitch control!) _ **What’s happening next month?** _ I’m not sure yet! I’ll likely be wrapping up the Hebes fundraiser and creating the Steam page! 😃 However, I’ve been more busy than I ever have with preparing for finals and AP tests and deciding which college to go to next year. Just as with last year, I will definitely have to take May off to get it all done in time. 🙁 \*Thankfully, though, I won’t have a job or any commitments this summer, so I’m looking at three great months of just MakeCode… 🥰 _ **Poll time!** _ I’ve always been curious about this, and it has a large effect on what programs I should choose to implement, so: **Do you have MakeCode hardware?** (Such as the Meow:bit, Micro:bit shield, Brainpad, etc.) _Poll ([view on site](https://forum.makecode.com/t/randomusers-presidential-office/30959/1116))_ Thanks for tuning in this month! 😊 👋 ---

🤣 WOW this is so fun and official, I love it!! I can imagine actually having this printed to keep at my desk, people stop by and just get an article on the monster-shark-coding-tv-lasereyes-monster truck 🥰 If any artistic users wanted to, they could also make some comics for it! (If you’re up for collaborating of course) Really amazing job, thank you! : - D ---
