I think when you said “blitz” it confused him. He is probably thinking of the German “Blitzkrieg” which is a term to describe the war tactics used by Nazi Germany in the Second World War. The term has been shortened to just “blitz” by many English speakers. Here is the Wikipedia article for reference: > **[Blitzkrieg](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blitzkrieg)** > > Blitzkrieg\[a\] (lit. 'Lightning Warfare') is a German term used to describe a combined arms surprise attack, using a rapid, overwhelming force concentration that may consist of armored and motorized or mechanized infantry formations, together with artillery, air assault, and close air support. The intent is to break through an opponent's lines of defense, dislocate the defenders, confuse the enemy by making it difficult to respond to the continuously changing front, and defeat them in a decisiv... @TheGooberEarth if you were thinking of the blitzkrieg then I must make sure you know that they were almost definitely referring to something else. I don’t want to talk about politics (which breaks the code of conduct) but I do want to clear up what I can in hopes of resolving this small misunderstanding. - Robby ---
