# Replace post approval with a report system

THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL!
I would really be positive with this change.
The whole concept of post approval is pretty annoying as I would say.
So why not replace it with a report system that alerts the mods when used?

because people making alt accounts and spamming report on good topics has already occured in the past.

just do this :
if there’s an account that has been active on the site for over a month they can post without waiting for approval.
if an account has false reported multiple times the account will not be able to report and if this continues the account will get banned.
same action continues on a different account with the same IP? IP ban the person.
it that simple

IDK, I don’t mind waiting! I like the peace of mind knowing someone’s at least read over the posts before they come through. Sure, some stuff slips through, but mostly because any issues are nearly harmless…

I agree. I believe post approval also keeps the community pretty close and dedicated, since a smaller portion of potential users are willing to wait for approval.
(That’s why everyone seems to know each other on here.)
