Hi just before I begin I don’t in any way mean problems with you I mean with makecode arcade
ok to start of performance is a big issue because when I for example am trying to make a game it usually gets to big and it gets really laggy
second this is a big one sometimes when I copy and paste something from a different project into a new one and I’m pasting variables sometimes it ends up glitching and deleting all the variables which is very bad
3 when we have multiple projects open at a time makecode does not like that but that’s not the issue the issue is that sometimes that corrupts both the copy and the original delating all the variables tile maps and more
4 multiplayer is very slow you probably already know about this because everyone is talking about it
there are more issues I have but I don’t want to sound rude also I just want to clarify that I’m not having a go at the people that work on makecode arcade because as a godot coder I my self know how hard making something like makecode is and I want to thank them because there not only doing an amazing job but there also doing the best they can and I’m very grate full of that this is just to let the team at Microsoft know of some of the bugs that are out there so we can better makecode for every one!

Heres my say on some of this:
Lag usually has to do with your computers preformance…When I code on my Chromebook I have issues but on my PC everything runs fine.
If your copy pasting from Project to Project, try loading them one at a time instead of opening two tabs at once.
I’ll admit Makecode does have some issues (Famously getting your code deleted, ect.) but I just wanted to say that to see if I could help.

Yeah I’m pretty most people just work around these limitations except #1

@richard did mention an idea he had on stream that was a more performant version of the editor that simply removed some of the details in blocks to make them look more boring and be more performant. This is definitely an idea that doesn’t seem awfully complicated to implement, though I ofc do not know much about Makecode backend.

i have not experienced 2 or 3, can you provide me with a clear repro case? like two projects where pasting this code causes the bug?
