# Searching box for variables?

In big projects I get so many variables, is there a way to search when opening the variable menu?

Yeah, it’s kind of annoying in big projects but that’s not available withing MakeCode. Although, all the variables are sorted alphabetically so it shouldn’t take too long to sift through them in order until you find what you’re looking for.
