# Sorry, we could not load this project

Hola, I’ve recently been working on a game. But today, I tried to load the game from the main website, and the game doesn’t load. It displays an error message on the bottom of the screen “Sorry, we could not load this project.”
I tried duplicating the project but to no success. However, when I opened the Console via Inspect Element, I got this log:
I did load the GIF converter extension onto the project, but I don’t recall encountering any issues.
Any help is appreciated! 👍

Ah, my bad. The GIF converter is _not_ an extension, it’s a Python tool. You run the Python tool to generate a bunch of frames to paste into an Arcade animation block. I’m not sure how to remove it without breaking though, but it would be a good idea to share your project or download it as a .png or even a .uf2 if it’s possible, so then we can try to fix it.

The project fails to even load the simulator or code. It just displays an error message. So I don’t think I can share it at the moment.

Can you open JavaScript, open the files tab and delete the GIF converter directory?

Wish I could say yes, but I unfortunately haven’t. My only advice, is to use an older version of whatever project you’re experiencing issues with (if you have one.)

Hey man! I had the same problem like 2 minutes ago lol, but I found a solution, if you go View All next to the My Projects text, you can then select the project and click the down arrow on the Open button then select Open in New Tab, for some reason if i click it directly from the hub it displays Sorry, we could not load this project and fails to even open it so yeah. For me it didn’t load the project, but it let me see the JavaScript, and you can copy the JavaScript and import it in a new project. Sorry if i’m late but hope this helps 😃
Idk if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me and I hope it works for you
PS: If you had extensions add them because the code will have errors
Also haven’t tried this yet and not sure if it works but maybe if you shared a link of the game before you can edit the project directly from the link.
