You know there is a light extension in MAKECODE. You can use that when the lights turn off.

OH NO NOT ANOTHER SPOOKY GAME  
i give it a my heart is racing / 10 the heartbeat effect is TERRIFYING it is very effective even without seeing the monster! this is such a cool idea and the world is very well built, i would LOVE to see more of this game
