Hey all! My students this quarter are really going deep and I was thinking it would be fun to have them participate in a GameJam. Are there any other teachers lurking on here who might be interested in joining in? Just trying to gauge interest before going too far down this path… ---

I think it would be a amazing idea to pit your students together in a game competition to test their skills I have interest ---

One of the Best Game Jams here on the Forums was the Cursed Game Jam It can be taken literally where your player is cursed with something Or it can be taken Figuratively Where Some mechanic actively harms the gameplay loop like messing with your controls Another couple good ideas are; MultiPlayer Jam, board game jam, and the safe bet Halloween Jam The coolest one has to be the Hacking Jam having the player be able to change the world around them or even the rules of the game. its a very open concept thus making it great for a Game jam none of these ideas are original they are some of the mini game jams done here on the forum.
