# The forum is dying, why?

doesn’t that mean that you’re not as experienced with this? Taser has been around for 3 years now

the point of the show and tell category is to show off **makecode projects** not to chat about random stuff (thats why we have the weekly and chatting topics!)

also you shouldn’t need a warning to respect basic rules

Ultimately, taser was just tryna say how there are a lot of newer users **SOME** who post a lot of off-topic things and that has led to some decline in forum quality, **not** that every new member is immediately off topic.
