# The "Pick random" block doesn't seem random

This seems like it has nothing wrong in it to me, but it only sets the variable “random” to 3 every time.

Same thing with this, however it only picks 2 for the variable “random 2” and still only picks 3 for “random.” Can anyone tell me what’s wrong?

I’m a rookie and very new to using this so sorry if this is a stupid question or super unoptimized.

I don’t know why it would do that! I’ve heard that some ‘random’ picks are actually based on the current millisecond of game time, making random numbers easily that aren’t actually random. Maybe if instead of having the game pick random every 4 seconds the time could vary a bit?

I have no clue  
do you have multiple instances of the “random” variable?
