# The problem with starting the MakeCode offline editor on a standard Windows 10 user account

Hello. I have successfully downloaded and installed MakeCode Offline Editor. When I run it under a local administrator account on Windows 10 everything works fine. But, if on the same computer, I run it from a standard user account, the program does not start. I have to run the program with administrator rights and enter the password. How can this be avoided? How do I run the program from a standard user account without entering the administrator password every time?
