Hi,
I couldn’t, for the longest time, figure out why my sprite wasn’t moving on my tilemap, and when it did eventually move with lots of button pressing, it hit an invisible wall. I eventually used a tile from the tile gallery (this tilemap block is disabled in this link) instead of the one I created (which was just a solid color) and my sprite moved as it should. Why is it that a tilemap created using a tile that is a solid color doesn’t work? Or is there something else going on here that I am missing…?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I believe you might have encountered an optical illusion.

If you keep moving right, you eventually reach the bump in the road, but on the way it does not look like the sprite is moving(feels like hitting an invisible wall) with the solid tiles running past beneath.

This being an optical illusion makes a ton of sense, thank you so much!!
