Trying to basically make a Zelda game, its going good so far only problem is I don’t know how to use the tilemaps extension properly. Can anyone explain how to use it?? There doesn’t seem to be any tutorial on the site

Try reading other people’s code! You can also go into a separate project and mess around. That’s my favorite way to learn new extensions!

The separate dialogue about the name “corrupt” made me laugh out loud!

@PixelDoodle
Look sorry to ping you ahead of time but I still can’t figure this out
I saw you did something similar to what I’m talking about in that game you were making called “Gena!” were when the character goes to the right of the screen the next level loads
Do you know how I can do this with what I already have?

@Danny_Devention something like this?

> you can make pretty big tilemaps in arcade! that being said, it can be tricky to manage all the sprites on those maps. if you have a huge tilemaps with hundreds of sprites running around, your code is going to run pretty slow. instead, you could consider doing something like what the old-school zelda games used to do and chunk your world into maps. for example: then you can destroy old sprites and create new ones every time you move from one screen to another.

Thank you Richard
