# Topping: The topic review service by Randomuser!

Hello!
Have you felt that the mass influx of new topics is overwhelming? Do you often find yourself ignoring new topics because you don’t have the time to look through them all? Well this service is for you!
Topping (A shortened version of ‘topic pings’) is a service where Makecoders will review new topics and ping any topping subscribers who have signed up to see certain content. You simply ignore all new topics, and just check your notifications box for pings which alert you to the real ones!
You can sign up here at these polls to be notified when a certain topic is made. You can also volunteer to help me look through the posts! In the case you do volunteer, you will have a big responsibility to log on at least every few days and check all new topics in whatever catagory you are assigned.
So far, here are the toppings:
🍒 - Cherries: Get notified when a new finished game comes out that is ready to play!
🎉 - Sprinkles: Get notified when a post that is just art (not art as part of a game) is posted!
🍦 - Whipped cream: Get notified when a post that is just music (not as part of a game) is posted!
🍫 - Chocolate: Get notified as soon as new opportunities pop up! These could be things like game jams or competitions, open collaborations, or offers of free art or music!

Ooo, lots of volunteers! How about these arrangements:
- Luke does the ‘blog’ section
- Blobbey does the ‘show and tell’ section
- Lucas does the ‘help’ seciton
And i’ll take anything that doesn’t fit into those sections! Sound good?

I think the fact this kind of project existing demonstrates the current state of the forum.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an interesting idea, just kind of impractical because it will clutter new topics with pings.
Also, it’s going to be pretty hard to manage considering how many topics are made all the time

Actually, It’s pretty simple! I have a clipboard of all the users I need to ping, then I just copy-pase it into any post that meets the criteria. Plus, I already read all of the topics that pop up anyway XD

I think we should keep toppings. It won’t be too complicated. It could be something like this:
**WHOAH COOL GAME** etc, etc. Then:
