The kids I work with are comfortable working in block coding Arcade. In this 3D visual effects program by Chase Mortensen some time ago the kids really have to move to text coding for some changes such as background color. (This variant of Arcade seems to be unstable on my machine if moving from Python back to JS or blocks so I recommend they work only in JS).
