# Uploading Images (PNGs) to Makecode (Help)

I’m trying to upload a PNG image to Makecode, but when I click “Go ahead!” After I put the file into the thing, the image doesn’t seem to pop up anywhere. Not in assets at least. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok I’ve used this and downloaded the new file but where is the image???

Click “copy as makecode image” or whatever and paste it into the makecode arcade image editor

i personally use [this](https://riknoll.github.io/pxt-arcade-asset-tool/) tool, its really helpful and easy to understand
