# Videos on the forums?

Is there a way to add videos to posts that arent gifs? If not, can this feature be added? I want to showcase game mechanics without sending the whole game.

You could just convert the video into a gif then post that.

Maybe no, but… you can actually trick it by using embedded videos, like YouTube or a website service that can turn a video into an embed link (depending on how it’s converted), while normal video uploads aren’t possible… That’s the explanation. 👍

I managed fo send videos, I just get the link for the YouTube video, paste, and done. (Probably also works with uploaded videos)

Ive seen someone do it. I think. cause i saw their cursor on the little screen, so im assuming you **can** do videos?
