# Voting for the removal of the delete post button

The delete post button becomes useless after a certain amount of time, so I say it gets removed at around the same time the edit button gets removed.

What do you mean? I’m confused. The delete post button always works for me (and I don’t want it to get deleted).

Whenever I try to delete a post after the editing period, it says I “don’t have permission to delete this topic”, rendering it useless.

Or maybe make the delete and edit buttons always work? I don’t think we should get rid of it altogether

Oh, I thought you meant deleting posts, not topics. Yeah, the delete topic button is pretty useless.

Yeah, you can view it after deletion, which is odd!
