Try following the steps 1. Make cuboid outlines and define the top in a different colour 2. Colour in the outlines with a colour ramp 3. Make supports in different colour 4. Add some wires around the buildings in different colour 5. Make a colour palette or find one (I slightly tweaked this one: [Cretaceous-16](https://lospec.com/palette-list/cretaceous-16)) 6. Colour in with new palette (add a highlight along edge) 7. Add windows 8. Add greenery Feel free to change your design as you go along, I initially planned for it to be on a smaller scale but changed it up after realising I liked the city look better! (stage 8) ---

You can use any pixel art program there’s loads online. Just use 15 colours! ---

try using all 16 colors and make the game look 16 bit even tho it’s 8 bit ---

Usually lightest goes on top and the other 2 shades of the ramp can go on either side.
