scratch is fine what’s the hate towards it? (just my opinion I know it’s controversial)

Scratch is a (Breathe in) (Breathe out) sensitive topic because sometimes scratch users come on and say how good it is and
other stuff.

My favorite part about programming is the whole logic of it. If something doesn’t work, it’s never not my fault, which eliminates all the confusion and pain that comes with many other activities. :grinning_face:I like puzzling out solutions in my head and on paper, coming up with designs, and then watching other people be fascinated by the inner workings of my code (Spooder!). I also love solving other people’s problems and I get a huge rush of joy seeing someone’s problem easily deconstructed and a solution well explained and understood (I write a lot of long paragraphs in help questions ). I think debugging my code is super fun (yes I am insane) and I suppose I do make a lot of tests in my code (game.splash() is my favorite way to test!)

I agree. Coding is very consistent, and it makes me feel good that there is always a solution to every problem.
