Yo! How’s it been everyone? Another week, and with that, another weekly topic! This week’s topic has been requested by @UnsignedArduino, so you’ll have him to thank for that! * * * This week’s (2023-06-18T22:00:00Z→2023-06-24T22:00:00Z) topic is 🎷 **Name your musical interests and hobbies, a bit of a callback to [the first weekly topic](https://forum.makecode.com/t/weekly-topic-music-taste-of-the-forum-members/20180) (music taste - genres), but a little bit different. This time, name the instruments you play and what other music-related activities you partake in** (well, that was a mouthful wasn’t it?) As for me, well, I was never really a musical person myself per se, but I recently took a liking to drumming, since I have good rhythm. I have a drumset at home, although I need to tune it a bit before I can start seriously playing it. What about you? ---

I’m a choir boi. now Before y’all hate on me just know this: - First, I joined choir in 6th grade Because that was the year Covid happened. So I didn’t think we would do any work (I was wrong.) - Second, I didn’t know what Choir WAS before 6th grade. - Third, I actually took a liking for choir after 6th grade and since I didn’t wanna dropout of choir to learn something else so I stayed for 7th grade. (Which was SO FUN! My teacher would bring his switch to play **SUPER SMASH BROS** often!) - And finally, I was actually a good kid so I was selected to go to A choir competition, Busch gardens, and more! (That was alot.) ---

I play the xylophone at my school’s band. (And drums, too, but we’re not talking about that.) I spend most of my days doing random stuff on the computer (playing Pizza Tower, etc.) and doodling about Coding Castle. ---

I saved for a whole YEAR to buy this set, and its electric so its nice and quiet in my very loud house. A bit ago I was in a band! It was focused on jazz music, and it had me as the drummer, two trumpets, a saxaphone, and a guitar. We practiced quite a bit every week and only ever played once in public, but it was great! Well… except that 3 of the members were missing… thats how you end up with me doing a dang DRUM SOLO because the only other trumpet had no part in the song at that point! Drum disasters aside, I do hope you have fun on your new set. ---

I play the piano, clarinet, and marimba! (half decent at all of these as well) I also do marching and concert band. (marimba is for marching band, and clarinet is for both) ---

I play a variety of percussion instruments for a few years (snare drum all the vibraphone marimba xylophone etc, the weird stuff like tambourines and triangles and also the bass drum) but none very well except timpani, on that I am ok. I just joined marching band. ---

I play the piano but for my school band I play the Alto Saxaphone next year im switching to Tenor Saxaphone ---

I’m also pretty decent at PIANO. I recently quit lessons back in November, but I’m still pretty good! (I’m Second grade piano level. doesn’t sound so impressive at first but trust me. it’s a good level) ---

I love piano! I only learned one year, but I can play most of Beethoven’s pieces! (I also play other famous pieces like Turkish March, The Entertainer, and Megalovania 🙂 I can do rickroll too 😃 ---
