Hello, guys! Remember the last Jam we had last year? Well, that was a total flunk. So, that’s why we’re doing this again! In case you didn’t know, the RoboVac Game Jam is a coding competition where users compete against each other for the best games on MakeCode. Spectators, get ready to see some awesome games! Participants, get ready to brawl each other for the best game ever (but seriously though, please don’t actually fight. It would be a burden!). # Rules Rules are like last year. - Don’t copy code or use other’s code. - Keep the games PG. - Teams are allowed. - Credit assets that other people made. - Always must be made in MakeCode Arcade. - Follow the theme!!! We will talk about this soon. And that’s that. Oh, also here’s the dates: Start: 2026-02-28T06:00:00Z End: 2026-04-01T05:00:00Z. This is a lot of time I’ve ever given for a competition, I guess. # Theme Alright, here’s the theme. The theme today is **freestyle**! This year, we want to see **your** styles in coding! So that’s why we’re letting YOU create your own games this year! Your game could be anything—shooter, like [💥 Missile Battlegrounds](https://forum.makecode.com/t/missile-battlegrounds/23694), or a fishing game, like [this FEESH game,](https://forum.makecode.com/t/fish-videogame/32955), or it can, of course, be about the MakeCode Forums itself, like [The MakeCode Forums](https://forum.makecode.com/t/the-makecode-forums-arcade-makecode-superheroes-in-my-community-game-jam-submission/24994). # Winners Because this is a competition, there’s obviously got to be winners. I will review all games posted in this thread. Then, a few days after the deadline, our non-participants will select a game for the podiums (1st, 2nd and 3rd), and for honorable mentions. The top-voted games will be selected. # Rewards Thanks for the reminder @MeatballDev! The rewards for the winners and honorable mentions weren’t clear, I see. I’ll just go over them again. I’ve finally thought of some things, some mainly inspired by CK5. The Top 3 will get a spot in the Hall of Coders. The honorables will get banners and I only request the honorable mentions add it to their bio, to show it off. Top 3 gets those, too. 1st place gets the 3D TROPHY!!! ---
