# \-Y moves up?

Why would changing sprite’s Y position by a negative number make it move up? Or what am I missing here?

In arcade (and in most graphics code) y goes down instead of up! (0,0) is the top left of the screen and (160,120) is the bottom right

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been doing Scratch and Minecraft, so… that coordinate system is embedded in my brain.
