14 y/o Scratch guy that has two micro:bits and a micro:bit shield, and some ADHD and possibly another mental disability…

Whoa, is there no character limit? Celebrates for a second Lemme tell you a story (or not, ig whatever you feel like I don’t have control over you)

Once upon a time- no, wait, that doesn’t sound right.

ONCE UPON A TIME- no, that’s not right either.

ONCE UPON A TIME- nope, almost got it though.

ONCE UPON A TIME…

Perfect. Anyway, I was (say this next word in a mysticat voice) Perusing the scratch extension library during COVID. I then saw the Micro:bit extension, with the simple and highly misleading description:

Connect your projects with the world.

Requires Collaboration with

Bluetooth Symbol, wi-fi symbol Micro:bit

I clicked a few buttons and ended up on scratch’s Micro:bit page. I then clicked a few more buttons and ended up at the official Micro:bit website. A few more button clicks later (who would’ve guessed?) and I ended up and Microsoft Makecode Micro:bit. I played around, made a few projects, and was like “Hey dad, can I have a Micro:bit for christmas?” “A what?”

Long story short, I was now a very cool 8 y/o with a Micro:bit. A few years later, I purchased a Shield and lost my battery pack. My father then purchased me Another micro:bit (this time a kit) and I now had a battery pack that I hated because it was off brand and used AA batteries instead of AAA batteries like normal, and also has a on/off switch which is unnecessary for the V2. That one broke recently, and now I am looking for two battery packs on the Official micro:bit website.

You are now up to date. Thanks for reading.
