I need help with a Boss I'm designing for platformer type game

I figured out the basic mechanics of how I want it to work but I’m having trouble coding it
little orange guys are “fliers” big orange guy is actual boss, you need to stomp on the boss 3 times to unalive it but to get it to come down you need to stomp on 2 other “flier” guys first, then it loops 2 more times. I can do the pixel art myself I just need the code that’s all. I made some sketches of the mechanics

What i’ve got so far is at level 27
The boss is labeled “FC1” (Stands for flier captain 1) and the animation is labelled FCFLY just to clear up any confusion
here’s the link: Jumpy Platformer DD
by the way the base code (player, enemies, mechanics) isn’t mine i’m just adding to someone else’s (the new levels, NPCs, diolog and plot is all mine)

ps. system and moderators, I got rid of the thing I put in the code accedentally that you didn’t like from last time I tried to make this post

good sir, I recommend you use the sprite util extension for this. for the pathfinding, make a invisible a sprite right below the enemy and have them fly down towards it using the sprite util thing. when the boss touches that, place a invisible sprite on the player and have them go diagonally towards that, and when they touch the ground either have them go back up by making a invisible sprite up to another direction, or have it pause on the ground before going directly back up. for the other things, make them a sprite of separate name and slightly different design, and have there be a counter for when they have been killed, that goes up with each death and resets when the boss takes damage. when the counter is high enough, have the boss do the described attack. this should help with the attack.

Hmm… For the fliers my suggestion is on random intervals to have them lower to the ground, and then once they land, set a boolean (true/false) to true. That way if the player overlaps with a flier while that boolean is true, the ‘number of stomps’ counter could go up by 1. At the end of the overlap code handling the stomps, the game should check if that stomp counter is at 2, and spawn the boss!

yo can i help i good at this stuff. trust.
