Animation Tools?

I know this isn’t really coding, but what do y’all use to animate and edit your animations? I can’t find anything.

i use aseprite but makecode is honestly fine i don’t really port stuff if i don’t have to (for red line i just used makecode for all the animations and stuff)

if you click on “advanced”

then the animation blocks will be there

The built in animation tool
you can find it in Advanced > Animation

There is an animation tab in the editor, with a built in animation editor. It’s certainly not the greatest editor, but it has everything you need to make a few animations!

I use Pixel Brush: https://www.pixelbrush.app/ Then you just have to recreate it pixel-by-pixel in Makecode. :expressionless:

try piskel

I use the extension Character Animations and it works a treat

when I say animation, I mean like outside of makecode. Its my second profession, and the app I use sucks. So if anyone aninates outside of makecode please tell me what you use.

Pencil2d and Clipnote studio. You can find Pencil2d’s download on their website, however Clipnote is on itch.io and is similar to flipnote, which you can find on older 3ds, but for PC, just use clipnote.

Also, Flipnote was used by raxdflipnote to make the infamous LETS GO GAMBLING meme. Clipnote has the same artstyle, and if you want to export your animations, there is a plugin named paperclip that allows you to do that.

Oh yeah and also SFM, gotta love the memes
