Top 30! Let’s go!

Honestly when I started MakeCode years ago it was after my brother @CoolKid2134m13 found this weird editor called MakeCode arcade he followed the Galaga tutorial and made yoda flinging dynamite at… gosh I don’t even remember the enemy I had no programming experience (but was still good at math) and I made DUCK VS CRAB. With particles so big you could barely see the sprite. At the time I had little to no idea of what a sprite even was. My brain works so most stuff that I do I can’t focus on anything unless I power through hard to get hooked and in that case I would always not be able to leave that I actually installed a whiteboard next to my bed so if I had a dream of an idea I would be able to remember and it wouldn’t drive me crazy. This went on for months when I learned the advanced features like functions I felt like I was on top of the world this went on for months up until I was almost a year older since I started I made it my goal to learn JavaScript by the anniversary mark ( I did not do this) so about 1 and a half months later I finished because I literally pulled multiple all nighters in a single week. Eventually I finished I felt like I could do anything so I purchased unity vs code and a few other things that at the time I had no clue how they worked. YouTube tutorials don’t really help you learn how to use an editor that’s not made for 9-12 year olds. I had had a GitHub account but had no idea what a repository even was. Shortly after I joined the forum with my mini-game-jam 16 game Train stopper. I quickly realized I hated game jams for this editor specifically because if you try and show a calculus game in front of 13 year old they tend to not like it. My original idea was calculating the amount of coal required to put on different trains to reach different speeds. Long story short bad graphics poor amusement and (for me at least) little difficulty. So I resorted to cheap game made in an hour that’s only compliment was the whistles looked like hair dryers. Which I thought the same thing not realizing how many bigger games (for me at least) where made on a ā€œminiā€ game jam. After that I got bored of the forums and coding all together so I left for a month (half I guess) but boy was I excited when I got back on, because I had my first like (and badge) I’ll never forget that suspicious broccoli that liked my post. I made some math stuff forgetting kids don’t like ohms law and probably don’t even use what so ever. ( I said probably that is more like definitely) Made some posts and in February I started the longest running News source on the site Channel 0 and let’s be honest it started off looking like an absolute dumpster fire that forged text so close together. It looked awful but you guys liked it no clue why after making some math stuff I was like ā€œimagine if this was an extensionā€ after a while and uh many ChatGPT visits I made my first extension… that didn’t even work! Yes you heard me so every time I typed the link in the search bar it would give me a local copy I being the stupid me I am didn’t realize published the extension. And later sarge replied saying it already exists. Looking back on he probably intentionally didn’t tell me it didn’t work he must’ve been like ā€œI’ll spare this poor noob the heartbrakeā€ all because I had no clue MakeCode had a built in tool for this so I was missing many key details like… uh… code to actually run it. I figured this out after making my second extension which is technically my first because the other one didn’t work. And you probably know it from their. I became a thriving entrepreneur with 2 cents to my name who felt like Neal Armstrong on the moon. UNSTOPPABLE! But I couldn’t have done it all without you guys helping me linking my posts. Currently I have 25 nice reply’s. So thank you! From yours truly
