“Ahem.” Anyway, let’s get on with the topic though. I really like art and thought it would be nice to make a thread of art like @Luke’s Weekly Art Challenge?
Here, you can share art-pixel art or paper art! I’d love to see art and hoping that SOMEONE WILL ACTUALLY NOTICE ME!!! :face_exhaling:

Most of the art I’ve made has been profile pictures, here are some of my favorites:
This one was for Astral: (Me)

This one was for CopySprite: (Also me)

This one was for ZeroFall:

I make myself at least one new profile picture every month so I’m going to make a march profile picture soon.

It’s a little busy. Try not to add many pixels that aren’t touching other pixels. Details should be made out of little pixel blobs that envoke the idea. (Im not an expert, but I think this is right)

Also that kidpix program is AWESOME!!! It’s perfect for making very bright and silly art, so I had to try it myself:

Mine is definitely less of Luke’s “Hyperpop but still realistic” style and more of a “Let’s press all the buttons!!” piece, but its fun to make
I’d highly reccomend you all try it!

Why I Added Orphan Pixels
If it’s on the trees, I designed it to be like that because I wanted a bunch of leaves to be really messy and overgrown (it is the forest after all)
If it’s on the train, it’s supposed to be steam and smoke from the boiler

Just to show that I like trains, what do you guys think…of this?

In case you did not know, this is a British Rail Class 47 Diesel train. I added a lot of orphan pixels as diesel and oil dripped on the lower section or as smoke from the engine. I plan to add this in a Train Simulator. As we all know, @Luke will win, but who can draw the best vehicle? Try to beat this train if you can. The competition ends 2026-02-24T16:00:00Z2026-03-03T16:00:00Z
(This train drawn here does not count but try to beat it to win).

Ya, orphan pixels are great for small details like eyes and rivets but not great for shading because of the fact that they stand out and draw focus.

This is oddly fun but confusing…

Terrible, right?

Nah, it’s the OPPOSITE of terrible.

Wow, that’s REALLY well done! It looks very accurate even at a small resolution : - )

Lovely artwork, I like the symmetry! There’s few programs that really get people drawing like they did when they first learned to draw, and I think it really captures a kind of carefree, abstract, bright style that people tend to stray away from in professional-ish art. The meaning of the piece is more about art and creativity itself, or even the process of thought itself…

…I’m thinking too deep into KidPix, aren’t I?
