Welcome to: Beverage Bandit!

Story: Long ago, there were seven islands all living in peace, until the Beverage Bandit came and stole all the drinkable water in the land, and war broke out. John (You) will have to stop this Bandit and bring peace to the seven islands!

I wasn’t sure if there was supposed to be a fight with the sheriff, but I said (Spoiler) "Fight Me!‘‘ and he left me alone.

I have a recommendation for anyone who plays the game. Stay on the path. Seriously.

really fun! i also really like the story!

it was kinda spooky when that last guy just got sliced in half or something.

This game has a ton of story and I love the minigames!! :star_struck:
The character immediately has a motivation which makes it easy to get into the story.
I found the homeowner… :face_with_spiral_eyes: (I think?)


And these minigames are addicting!

(I love that doing my best is all that matters to be the best, very mindful :two_hearts: )
But I couldn’t make it further after entering the homeowner’s house.

What will the main gameplay be like, more of a fighting/strategy game or a dialogue/story game? :eyes:

By the way the “Ice cube” is a reference to my old projects! And also the games based off of “West of loathing” and “Undertale”

Yay new update!

Added: New room for the blue house in the opening! Added “Draw!” Mini-game, and “Wisdom of tree” room.

I got a chunk of Fools gold outside today! Yay!

Anyways, I’m thinking of remaking the whole ost in: Ultrabox! It’s a mod of Beepbox that allows you to make music and add samples!

Woahh!! Great new story developments, it really feels like a quest now that we have NPCs and little signs to learn about the world!
The signs were right… I ventured off the trail and got completely lost :rofl:
The dialogue is also VERY dramatic!!


I’m so invested in this story, I need to know what happens next! Maybe in the future, you could add a save system so I don’t have to replay it each time?

this is funny… the bandit takes liquids (beverages ) from the solids (islands), rather than solids (treasure) on the liquid (sea)

So… The thing is that I added “Dev shortcuts” to the demos. If you press them more then once, you break the game.

Edit: : love it! the game is great! I made it to the brick building and that’s where it ended. I think the best part was the mine cart ride.

Mini update: The players progress finally saves (Woohoo) before the first boss!

Press the menu button to reset your progress and reset the game.

I gotta code the boss now so yipee

There’s a bug where i get teleported to the “Tree of Wisdom” room while I’m riding the cart.

Fix that please.

Also use the story extension for dialogue, not just options, makes it so much better.

I fixed the “Dev” shortcuts because there’s a save feature now, but the dialogue box is a choice that we’re keeping in. You can mod the game when it’s finished to change it to the story extension, or we can make it a option in the settings!
