This is the game i made for this month’s pirate mini game-jam. since it ended up being one of my better games, i have decided to continue work on Blunderbuss, but im not sure what else i should add. Does anyone have any ideas?
For example, i could make a mode after you get through enough levels you control a big pirate ship instead.

I used the color fading extension to get that darker tan color for the shading effect.
without that, it doesnt look very good.
music is awesome
very nice! remember to hue shift your gradients to get nicer shadows and highlights

This is pretty cool. Only suggestion I have is adding a crosshair to help the player aim.
Hello Everyone! The next update is ready for release.

- made minor UI tweaks
- Added new ability which will allow the player to heal. however, since it is unlocked after defeating the boss, in the current addition it is unusable.
I intend to make weekly updates to Blunderbuss through August. The next update will either be a jungle themed area or a town themed area.

I accidentally updated the link early while i was working on the boss, leaving the game in a somewhat broken state for a few days, but it should be fixed now.

I spent WAY to much time on sprites this week, and that was most of what i got done.
Summary
Added Mastbreaker - tall skeleton with a shipmast as a weapon
Added Kegrunner - skeleton with an explosive barrel
Added music to jungle area - High barbary
Changed game over message - “Davy Jones awaits Ye”
This is not all i got done this week, but it is all i feel is ready to be released. A third enemy that will shoot projectiles at you is in development, as well as the town area. Here is a sneak peak into this week’s update:

It has been some time since the last update.
I apologize for that, but i am happy to announce that the game is nearly finished.
I had originally planned on there being 5 bosses, but i have realized that the game is already long enough, so there will be three. The boss shown above will not make the final cut, but he may return in the future.
The final boss will be in the next update.
I speak with no tongue, yet whisper your fate,
