Here’s the game of the week
This was a super awesome game and @Luke made some wonderful artwork for their version.
Overall I thought this game was awesome. Great job @pecan4 .

I’ve noticed that makecode has less people than scratch due to the fact that most textbooks teach students more about scratch than makecode.
textbooks promote makecode microbit at standard 6 like they say its harder or something but you might be wondering, what does this have to do with the forums well the only way to discover the forums is ur fwens tell you about it or you find it out online in the makecode yt channel or the most unlikely one and the one where i found out about this was the share button where there is a forums option

Function blocks should be dropdown choices of the functions you’ve made instead of making it where you have to open the function tab/drawer/whateverthey’recalled, kind of like how variables are.

There are a few problems with this idea.

#1 have you ever duplicated a function block?
How about a control block that you already have. You may have noticed that it turns grey.

#2 it’s easy to just make a new function with that name and just drag your code to the new block.

#3 IDK three just sounds like we needed three reasons.

Last but not least a dev log that started in December seems to be going pretty well.

honestly, i agree with @SoftTalker’s mini-comparison with scratch and makecode. makecode may have more useful scripts, but it doesnt really have competition for its graphic capabilities. in scratch (which may be more complicated) you can insert your own, images, and audios. in makecode, you can… make 16-bit things… and until makecode gets more editor updates, its not gonna get a lot more people into it. and i love the engine, its a very good kickstarter for beginning coders. and its ready for extra stuff, but theres not a lot of people contributing anymore.
