WELCOME TO THE FIRST EVER CODE STARS!

This is an unofficial game jam made by me, @RizeUpDev! 15 players are nominated for each jam! I nominate @randomuser, @danger_kitty, @NeverStopTheCoder, @Spike, @Unique, @Luke, @_jupiter, @CopySprite, @OrigamiArtist and @redSprite. The rest will join from this poll :down_arrow:

I know that this question will be asked, but I assure you, this will not affect your game jam games as I have planned to start at May 25th (My finals will finish). Just answer the poll now!

Rules!

  1. Games must be made in MakeCode Arcade
  2. There should be no violence in the games
  3. Your game ideas should be made originally for this game jam
  4. Remixes of existing games like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, or Rocket League is allowed, just not remixes of forum games like Magnate, Greenwood War, or Conquest of Duat.

Prizes!

  1. 6th place or below get hounerable mentions which they can add into their bio
  2. 5th or 4th place get ‘wowzer’ mentions
  3. 3rd and 2nd get certificates
  4. 1st place gets a medal and is declared as A Coder. They also join the other Coders in the Hall of Coders

  1. (sorry for the ping) @CopySprite, @Luke, @Unique, @danger_kitty, and @randomuser are indescribably good coders and I have 0.001% chance of getting even 5th place with their skill.
  2. I’m the newest to MakeCode there and joined < 2026 (after)
  3. I have exams until the 26th so… Yeah..
    Thank you for thinking that Im worthy enough (not) to compete against these incredible coders but I don’t know if I might succeed. Im still accepting the offer.

pls i beg may I join i only got like a few CAT and MAP tests (these tests aren’t like super big its only a state requried test hehe) ina few days but im free on weekends

(also because my school computer can’t handle to run my game and I code on a different beefy computer.)

it does kinda, its just that we can’t remix games from other people on the fourms.

my game is a ripoff of Pizza Tower but I had to make it child friendly cuz Pizza Tower is rated T for teen

tell me about it i was wondering if i would drop out of this because i am going on a vacation and other things so I have really only 12 days but I’m going to try and just give what I have at the end of this

But really, as much as some forum users have more experience, you really win a game jam with great ideas and the dedication to finish it.

is it free for all genres or a specific one like 2d platformer or raycasted 3d maze stuff???
