Microsoft is no longer actively maintaining MakeCode for EV3 (see PR#1052).
THEb0nny and me have collaborated to create this project with a site hosted on GitHub pages: https://github.com/pxt-ev3-community/ https://pxt-ev3-community.github.io/
It’s now running a more recent pxt version than https://makecode.mindstorms.com/ does, and there are a few more updates being tested. I have also added a Finnish translation to the editor.
Sharing and other cloud-based features are currently not supported, but it would be interesting to try to enable some of them.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the new version of the editor.
The latest changes are located at https://pxt-ev3-community.github.io/beta/
.
The issue with the first port for UART sensors has been resolved.
Hi @PetteriAimonen and @THEb0nny - Congratulations on getting this posted! And thank you for continuing this work. Just a request - can you please remove the Microsoft name and logos from this site? And also the links to the Microsoft Terms of Use and Privacy Statement in the footer? Thanks so much!
Sure! I did the changes now, they should be visible if you shift-refresh in browser.
Does it look ok to you?

Is it acceptable to write MakeCode EV3 in plain text like in MakeCode Arcade? Is it possible to use MakeCode so that the user understands what the editor is and what it’s based on? pxt-core is a technical enough term for the user to understand.
When the main page loads, msft is added to the loader. This isn’t in the pxt-ev3 target. I see it’s in pxt-core. How can I get rid of the msft class?
Element with classes: ui large main loader msft.
Looks good
Thanks for doing that!
Is it possible to write MakeCode EV3 in the header?
Thanks for confirming!
What do you think about what THEb0nny asked about still using “MakeCode” in the name of the site, without using Microsoft name or logo?
No, sorry, you can’t use the product name either
Would this be acceptable? I’d really like to identify the source (original name) of the software somehow. There is no intention to misrepresent it.
