Comparing text arrays

I’m looking for a logic test to compare two text arrays. When I use the one in the base markcode it says they aren’t equal even though they appear to be. I’m thinking maybe that is because that logic test is used to compare number variables.

Thoughts?

Right, even if the arrays have the same contents they won’t compare as equal - we have the same behavior here as javascript / many other programming languages, where comparisons with the normal equals block translate to == - for primitive types like numbers and strings this will behave as you want, but when comparing objects (e.g. arrays, sprites, locations) == checks if they are pointing at the exact same object - that is, the same location in memory (typically this would be from comparing two variables you already have). To check if text arrays are equal, you’d have to compare each element one by one.
