Examining and improving code?

Hi Brains trust.

The projects on here are simply amazing. Love seeing the ideas and getting inspiration from the wider community and true to form, I’ve put together this basic platformer based on a lot of the ideas and shared examples on the forum. However, It’s sole purpose is to have the community analyse the code and see where improvements can be made. It’s something that I feel would be highly beneficial to the community - improving and modifying projects for performance.

Currently, on meowbit, it’s tracking about 30 sprites on screen and runs at around 26.6 fps. Would love to see if there’s a way to get this higher, or maybe in general some improvements to the overall code that would increase overall performance, this would be a wealth of knowledge for anyone else creating future projects that want to improve their practice
